Why TalentGain?

The IT industry has evolved significantly over the last couple of decades. It has developed its unique way of handling certain core functions which include Bid Management, Account Management, Delivery Management and Solutioning.

While the focus of the academic institutions has been on imparting technical skills and to some extent project management skills, there is a clear need to bridge the large gap between academia and industry expectations. The expectation in the industry is to hit the road running.

Our focus is primarily on imparting the industry specific nuances. While students learn the basic concepts in the universities, they find it challenging to adapt to the real-world situation due to the lack of understanding.

Our emphasis is on industry exposure and imparting practical knowledge. We would lay stress on how bids are managed end-to-end, business development function, account management specific to IT industry, challenges in delivery and critical aspects in presales solutioning. This will augment knowledge gained through industry certifications like PMP, ITIL and TOGAF

We are offering 2 streams of courses catering to the needs of the students and working IT professionals.

For the Students

This will be a 12 hour course spread across 6 working days (2 hours each). We could also do it across 3 working days of 4 hours each. The target students will be ideally from the MBA stream (Business schools) , the MCA stream and engineering students.
We will start with an overview of how industry functions. Over the last few decades, the industry has evolved to a point where it has its own set of vocabulary. It is imperative for the students to get a basic understanding of the terminologies and expectations of the industry.
